About Us
Sevilla Chapel is a multi-ethnic bilingual Latino church plant in the region of Niagara that exists to glorify God through worship, biblical evangelism and discipleship.
As an evangelical community, we are passionate about the proclamation of a gospel for all aspects of life, the growth of the church, and the faithful witness through relational and cultural engagement.
With 133,000 residents in St. Catharines and well over 14,000 Latinos in the region of Niagara according to StatsCan, Sevilla Chapel seeks to be a welcoming multi-ethnic community where the truth and love of Christ is expressed.
Sevilla Chapel is a church plant mission of Harbour Fellowship Church.
What to Expect

Sevilla Chapel is currently in Phase II of III of its church-plant development, this means that we are still in the process of building our core group.
You are most welcome to join us for our biweekly services or Bible Studies on Sunday afternoons. For the Sundays on which we do not have service, we have a scheduled Bible Study together. Both our Sunday worship services and our Bible Studies begin at 3:00 p.m. You can check out our schedule by Clicking Here.
Services
Our community is multi-ethnic and inter-generational, and we come from various church backgrounds. Our worship service begins with a call to worship, usually based on a passage of Scripture, followed by congregational singing. After the second song, we pause to greet one another. We sing both modernized hymns and contemporary songs, alternating between the English and Spanish language. After we sing, we take up an offering, which supports the ministry of the church as a form of worship.
We then dismiss the children to their Sunday School programming (Sevilla Kids). (If you have kids up to grade 6, we’ll tell you where to go for the Sunday School.) After the children are dismissed, one of our members will read God’s Word. The sermon that follows, delivered in both English and Spanish, will explain and apply the text of Scripture that has been read. We conclude with a closing song, and a benediction. After the service, we invite people to partake in fellowship over coffee, tea and snacks.
Bible Studies
Our Bible Studies provide opportunities for fellowship, to study God’s word in community, and to pray for one another. It is also a place where we can collectively discuss the church planting process and any ministry needs that may arise.
These gatherings will eventually give way to weekly services when the time to transition arrives. All are welcome to join our Bible Studies. Interested in joining the church plant core group?
